Quantitative Researcher
As a Quantitative Researcher, you will design and refine pricing models, uncover trading opportunities, and work with vast market datasets. Collaborating closely with traders and data scientists, you’ll turn innovative ideas into high-performing strategies, driving success in the fast-paced world of algorithmic cryptocurrency trading.

BlockTech is a fast-paced algorithmic trading firm facilitating global cryptocurrency derivatives and spot trading while expanding into new markets. As we continue to grow rapidly, we are looking for a Quantitative Researcher to join us amid our exciting scale-up phase!
What will you do?
Design, develop, and improve robust pricing models and software
Explore new trading opportunities and develop back-testing tools
Test new trading ideas or models on high-volume market data and implement them into production
Collaborate directly and constantly with traders and data scientists to evaluate and improve current models
Follow up on implemented features and provide support when problems occur

Job requirements
An academic degree in Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, or any other quantitative field, with excellent study results
Experience working with Python, C++ and/or Rust
Programming experience in Python
Proven ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and systems
A positive, can-do attitude and a creative mindset
A genuine interest in financial markets
A long-term commitment to growing with us
